1997 Honda Accord

I took my accordion on occasion (friends suggested it) with a mileage of 145,000. Now it’s 158,000. The car bribed with options (power accessories, ABS, airbags, etc., everything except for air conditioning), body condition (without traces of beating and rust), interior design and body color (blue metallic mother-of-pearl). And in general I examined the car - the trunk is decent, the interior velor is in amazing condition, the head light is powerful, the rubber is decent on the molding (dunlop gp9000 sport 205/65 R15), the appearance is memorable - I liked it. By the way, the steering wheel is left, the country of origin is England, the headlights shine all the time with the ignition on. What is Honda before did not know at all. What pleased - it is perfectly controlled both at high and low speeds, the steering is clear with feedback. Holds the road amazingly, does not crawl on bumps, turns very clearly. Four disc brakes with ABS stop so that you can kiss the steering wheel if  1997 Honda Accord you don’t push it properly. Engine 2.0 131 hp without VTEC. You can cut it without spinning it much, because it pulls quite decently from 1500 rpm. If you chase - from 4000 rpm. a noticeable jerk begins, which ends at 6500 rpm. At first, when I appreciated the dynamics, I drove like a notorious "chisel" - lit, nimble, in short, flickered on the road. Now it's gone, it's nice to ride imposingly, but at the same time quickly. Benzus - highway / city - 8-9 / 11-12. On the track, I usually drink 120. I tried to accelerate to the maximum - it goes 190 at the declared 200. My hondeyka had a feature - 2 exhaust pipes, both coming out of the same muffler eventually fell off from knocking on the curbs. This caused an amazing low snarl of the engine during acceleration, which, together with the sporty character of the car, was pleasantly combined. I corrected it only when I went to Moscow and back with a full load - with the windows open, it presses on the ears noticeably. Of the stocks - the starter failed after 2 months. after purchase, the price of a new 12000r. Managed cleaning burnt collector and noticeably worn brushes. Leaking and rattling steering rack. What kind of people!? Synthetic oil, original spare parts, intifreeze, and dextron or something similar was poured into the steering wheel. This rail and spoiled. New ones are about 1000 USD and they say the old ones are not being repaired. This, as I understand it, is a branded Honda jamb, the absence of repair kits for these rails. Noise isolation, especially in comparison with the Audi 100, which was before, is weak. The noise from the wheels, from the road is very noticeable. The window lifter on the driver's door sticks, and this is caused both by wear of the guide rubber bands and by some internal backlash. The driver’s heating does not work, there is a break in the thermoelement, hands have not yet reached to do it, because in general the machine is very warm, if you turn on recirculation in the cabin, only a birch broom and beer are missing, and of course girls. The oil, even with a working engine, eats up a little, about 1.5 liters per 1000. The owners of other Hondas said that this is how the engine insures itself against excessive wear. Taking into account Avdotya, who also ate oil, I don’t bother about this. In addition to belts and front pads, I didn’t change anything, everything works, there were no problems. In general, you don’t have to drive on this machine, but ride it, it’s very nice to go anywhere, just to ride. A torpedo with inserts "under the tree", a neat torpedo made of foamed plastic "under the skin" does not irritate with squeaks or noises and looks solid and of high quality. Low clearance is a separate issue - everything sticks out a little, especially on unpaved roads (there are such trips) happily clings to the knee of the exhaust pipe (it sags a little) and thresholds. It is difficult to tear something off, but it is still unpleasant. Take it, a decent car, it gives everything - driving pleasure, reliability, a certain status, trouble-free. You just need to drive it into the service, otherwise the repair can pinch your pocket. By the way, saving on consumables is also not the case - it will cost you more. Hello Dimas! I have the same hardware. 2.0 96kw. I have such a question: at what speed do you drive around the city, at what speed do you switch in the usual calm style? Thank you. Hello, blood brother. In the city, when I calmly start off from 1500, I twist to 300 https://cars45.com/listing/honda/accord/1997
