It was in May, and at first we generally just wanted to endure the summer without a car, although we live a little outside the city - fortunately, there was a Chinese scooter that could take us to work. The very next day I went to work on a scooter. Well, of course, it immediately started to rain, the temperature dropped, and I arrived at work, which is less than ten kilometers away, shaking from the cold and wet from the rain. The next day, the situation is the same. It became clear that without a car it is much harder than we thought, and it’s unrealistic to go on like this for three months. Realizing that we need the car only for a few months, we choose the ease of further sale as the main criterion. We start monitoring ads and see what is in our budget. You can buy them, but the thought of how long they will have to sell made it a little sad. I decided to drive the "freshness" of the car into the search criteria, that is, to see - what if there is something no older than five years? And suddenly, among the Zhiguli of different stripes, I noticed Matiz. It was an inspiration. Looked at the ads - everything is fresh enough, cars disperse quickly. I read reviews - mostly positive, people talk about good city cars. I accurately inform my wife about my idea - she has a first reaction in the spirit of “YES, I’m BETTER ON FOOT!”. I show pictures of different Matiz - even I myself begin to doubt whether we need it. But after a couple of days on a Chinese scooter, we realize that there are no other options, we need to buy Matiz. Considering the abundance of ads, we decide to just come to Moscow, find a car during the day, and go back in the evening - fortunately, drive only 100 km. We also finally form the criteria: - not older than 2008; - not broken - Matiz start to rust wildly after the slightest accident; - with air conditioning - you don't want to die in the car in the summer, and it's a plus when selling; - budget - 140,000 rubles. On the eve of the inspection, we arrived in Moscow - just for work there was a business trip. It turned out that finding a Matiz right off the bat, who could come and pick it up, is a whole problem.
